Staff Product Manager – Billing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product vision and roadmap for B2B Billing, encompassing taxation, invoicing, accounting, cash application, collections, and reconciliation.

• Provide support for Enterprise and Membership fee models.

• Establish and communicate the B2B Billing product vision and strategy.

• Create and manage a roadmap that balances client experience, compliance, and platform scalability.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Finance, and Legal to define product requirements.

• Utilize data to make decisions between automation and control trade-offs.

• Work alongside product teams across Wellhub to prioritize shared billing functionalities.

• Collaborate with data, experimentation, design, and engineering teams to deliver scalable products.

• Define OKRs, goals, and metrics while monitoring progress.

• Oversee the backlog and facilitate meetings with stakeholders, engineers, and designers.

• Formulate hypotheses and conduct experiments aimed at enhancing billing journeys and client experiences.

• Collaborate with technical leadership and cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive end-to-end solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in leading significant product development projects is essential.

• A proven history of successfully leading impactful product development.

• Strong communication skills in English, both in writing and during meetings.

• Capability to work across various countries, cultures, and time zones.

• A data-driven mindset utilizing metrics and insights; comfortable working with numbers.

• Ability to discuss architecture and financial or compliance trade-offs with engineers and effectively explain them to non-technical stakeholders.

• Competence in deconstructing complex problems, navigating ambiguity, and making pragmatic decisions.

• Ability to influence without direct authority and align teams with competing priorities.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

• Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance work quality and decision-making efficiency.

• Experience in billing, payments, or financial systems is considered a plus.

• Familiarity with B2B SaaS products is beneficial.

• Experience with multi-country products, including tax and regulatory compliance, is advantageous.

• A background in engineering or software development is a plus.
