Senior Product Manager, Billing – Marketplaces

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the roadmap, execution, and launches for a significant area within billing or marketplaces.

• Collaborate with engineering to define features, establish a clear near-term roadmap, and oversee feature tracking through to launch.

• Enhance prepaid commitment functionalities, including customer-specific rate cards, contract modifications, rollovers, visibility of customer balances, and spend notifications.

• Spearhead cloud marketplace integrations across AWS, GCP, and Azure, focusing on private offers, usage reporting, and subscription linking.

• Refine payment and collections processes, including management of dunning and delinquency.

• Direct billing launches for new products and pricing strategies in partnership with Product Marketing, Sales, and Support.

• Act as a subject matter expert on customer billing throughout the organization.

• Report directly to the Director of Product Management, Billing and Marketplaces.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in product management.

• More than 3 years of experience managing billing, metering, payments, or commercial platforms for cloud or usage-based products.

• Strong understanding of usage-based pricing, prepaid credits, and committed spend agreements.

• Practical experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure marketplaces, including private offers, co-selling, and metering APIs.

• Knowledge of payment processes across card, invoicing, and marketplace channels, including dunning and delinquency management.

• Familiarity with order-to-cash processes, encompassing invoicing, tax, multi-currency, and revenue recognition.

• Experience with third-party billing and payment solutions, such as Stripe or vendors specializing in usage-based billing.

• Proven ability to independently manage complex projects across engineering, Finance, and go-to-market teams from the scoping phase to launch.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in an infrastructure, database, or developer platform company is advantageous.

• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and data pipelines is a plus.

• SQL fluency is a plus.
