Staff Product Manager, AI Software Factory

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold a 12–18-month product strategy for a collaborative segment of GitLab’s AI Software Factory, focusing on customer adoption and growth as primary objectives.

• Manage the entire adoption journey, from initial discovery and onboarding to activation, time-to-first-value, ongoing usage, team adoption, retention, and eventual conversion or expansion.

• Identify obstacles within the end-user, administrator, and buyer journeys, and prioritize enhancements that enable customers to realize value and expand adoption.

• Establish outcome metrics for product and growth initiatives; leverage product usage data, customer insights, and experiments to assess impact and refine direction.

• Foster a consistent test-and-learn methodology, including well-defined hypotheses, experiment design, and disseminating results and insights across partner teams.

• Integrate teams working on GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform into a cohesive, end-to-end experience.

• Collaborate with the GitLab Duo Agent Platform organization and product areas responsible for critical components of the software development workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven product management experience leading intricate technical or multi-team products from strategy formulation through delivery and iteration.

• Demonstrated success in enterprise B2B product-led growth or expansion, with measurable results on activation, time-to-value, adoption, retention, conversion, or scaling from individual to team or organization-wide usage.

• Practical experience utilizing customer research, product analytics, funnel and cohort analysis, and experimentation to uncover growth opportunities and evaluate outcomes.

• Strong comprehension of the software development lifecycle along with experience in AI products, developer tools, DevSecOps, or other technical B2B software.

• Solid technical judgment and a history of influencing cross-functional teams, managing tradeoffs, and communicating product decisions effectively in ambiguous situations.
