Staff Product Designer – AI Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the design process from start to finish: discovery, concept, prototyping, delivery, and launch.

• Transform initial ideas or vague problem spaces into fully developed products.

• Develop innovative AI products for external B2C clients as well as internal AI solutions for Payward.

• Identify challenges, establish direction, and make informed decisions in uncertain environments.

• Design interactions for systems that operate in non-deterministic ways.

• Craft visually engaging and forward-thinking experiences for AI products.

• Collaborate with product teams, engineering, and leadership to shape strategic direction and roadmap choices.

• Rapidly prototype, test concepts, gather insights, and iterate on designs.

• Conduct user research and leverage customer feedback, data, and experimentation to inform development processes.

• Uphold a high standard of craftsmanship and user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in product design.

• A portfolio that showcases outstanding craftsmanship and significant impact.

• Proven experience in leading the journey of products from conception to launch as the primary or sole designer.

• Expertise in managing the complete design process from start to finish.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions with limited information.

• Experience in designing AI-driven, generative, or probabilistic products is highly preferred.

• Strong skills in UX and visual design.

• Advanced capabilities in prototyping.

• Experience in influencing product strategy and making decisions across functions.

• Strong systems thinking skills.

• Ability to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments.
