This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Interpret prescriptions from physicians and prescribers.
• Reach out to doctors, prescribers, and patients to confirm prescription details and expedite order fulfillment.
• Compound and dispense medications in accordance with corporate and regulatory standards.
• Monitor order statuses and resolve outstanding issues.
• Provide consultations to patients regarding medication usage and potential drug interactions.
• Address customer inquiries concerning lost orders or dispensing mistakes.
• Maintain daily production, quality, and service standards.
• Adjust work priorities and activities to meet business demands.
• Oversee and ensure quality assurance for pharmacy technicians.
• Verify and confirm the legitimacy of controlled substances.
• Validate prescription details entered by data entry or order entry personnel.
• Communicate with physicians for new and transfer authorizations.
• Collaborate with physicians to convert prescriptions to generic or preferred medications when feasible.
• Provide backup support to other pharmacists as required.
• Mentor and train less experienced pharmacists.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Current resident pharmacist license in good standing.
• Must be a resident of Florida, Indiana, Arizona, or Pennsylvania.
• Advanced problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work collaboratively with various departments.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting prescriptions.
• Strong commitment to customer service, quality, and precision.
• Ability to manage timelines and adhere to tight client deadlines.
• Adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule during peak volume periods.
• Cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload for remote work.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday during the 6–8-week training period from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CT.
• Capability to work either Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm CT or Thursday through Sunday for 10-hour daytime shifts after training.
• Willingness to participate in a 1-week on-call rotation 2–3 times a year.
