Director, Pharmacy Value and Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Provide extensive strategic leadership for pharmacy services within designated areas.

• Supervise, mentor, and cultivate pharmacy leaders and team members.

• Oversee pharmacy practices, medication utilization processes, and care transitions.

• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and administrative stakeholders on medication management initiatives.

• Assess pharmacy practices and formulate new programs and recommendations for management.

• Supervise recruitment, hiring, performance evaluation, and professional development of staff.

• Uphold standards related to clinical activities, operational procedures, quality, patient satisfaction, and performance metrics.

• Analyze medication usage, associated costs, revenues, expenditures, productivity, and clinical results.

• Create and execute evidence-based cost-containment strategies and medication therapies.

• Develop, implement, and manage budgets while contributing to business plans and financial forecasts.

• Ensure adherence to accreditation, regulatory, corporate, local, and federal standards.

• Maintain suitable collaborative practice agreements.

• Oversee the clinical components of the Caresite Specialty Patient Management Program.

• Lead the Performance Improvement Program in collaboration with Human Resources.

• Direct corporate compliance efforts for Caresite Specialty Rx.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.

• Must be a Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in managing personnel, processes, or projects is essential.

• Strong mentoring capabilities.

• Proficient in office administration.

• Ability to manage pharmacy practices, medication use processes, care transitions, clinical and operational activities, budgets, compliance, and performance enhancement.
