This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Interpret prescriptions from physicians and prescribers.
• Contact doctors and patients to confirm prescription details and expedite order processing.
• Compound and dispense medications in alignment with corporate and regulatory standards.
• Validate the authenticity of controlled substances.
• Confirm prescription information entered by data or order entry.
• Reach out to physicians for new or transfer authorizations.
• Collaborate with physicians to convert prescriptions to generic or preferred medications whenever feasible.
• Advise patients on medication usage and potential drug interactions.
• Monitor order status and address any outstanding issues.
• Manage customer inquiries regarding lost orders or dispensing mistakes.
• Maintain daily production, quality, and service standards.
• Provide oversight and quality assurance to pharmacy technicians.
• Serve as a backup for other pharmacists as required.
• Mentor less experienced pharmacists.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Must hold a current resident pharmacist license in good standing.
• Required to reside in Florida, Indiana, Arizona, or Pennsylvania.
• Must possess a license in the state of residence.
• Advanced problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to work cooperatively with other departments to resolve issues.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting prescriptions.
• A solid commitment to customer service, quality, and accuracy.
• Ability to manage timelines and meet stringent client deadlines.
• Adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule during peak volume periods.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm CT during the 6–8-week training phase.
• Ability to work either Monday–Friday, 10:00 am–7:00 pm CT or Thursday–Sunday, 10-hour daytime shifts post-training.
• Participate in a one-week on-call rotation 2–3 times annually.
• Home internet connection via cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload speed.
