This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Manage calls from members, pharmacies, and providers regarding pharmacy clinical initiatives.
• Work collaboratively across various departments within CareSource to provide exceptional service to members.
• Execute technical and clerical tasks that do not necessitate a pharmacist’s clinical judgment.
• Verify member identity and update demographic and provider details.
• Send faxes to providers.
• Handle and respond to incoming calls.
• Adhere to protocols, apply critical thinking, and escalate issues to the appropriate parties as necessary.
• Deliver precise information and maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Accurately and promptly input information into relevant systems for outcome evaluation.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance member care.
• Achieve or surpass productivity and performance benchmarks.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent relevant work experience is mandatory.
• At least One (1) year of clinical call center experience is essential.
• Ohio Technician Registration is required.
• Capability to obtain state registration in multiple states, as needed.
• Preferred: Three (3) years of retail pharmacy or hospital pharmacy experience.
• Preferred: Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
• Proficient in computer use with a basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with the healthcare sector.
• Comprehension of the pharmacist’s clinical role in member care.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medication names.
• Proficient grammar in written and email communications.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective critical listening and thinking skills.
• Time management capabilities.
• Proficient in decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work from 9 am to 5:30 pm, including weekends and overtime as required.
