This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

• Lead cross-divisional initiatives that advocate for technological best practices and improvements.

• Develop communications, code samples, blog posts, and other resources to disseminate knowledge both internally and externally.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering).

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), and data architecture.

• Preferred: A Master's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

• Preferred: Over 10 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, web technologies, distributed HPC and ML systems, cloud computing, and data architecture.

• Preferred: More than 10 years of professional coding experience in Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala.

• Preferred: At least 8 years of experience with databases and database management systems.

• Preferred: More than 10 years of professional experience throughout the entire system development lifecycle.

• Preferred: At least 8 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.

• Preferred: Over 10 years of experience with networking protocols and third-party distributed-system integration.

• Preferred: At least 5 years of experience mentoring senior engineers and fostering professional growth within technical teams.

• Preferred: A minimum of 2 years of experience leading cross-domain architectural reviews and establishing coding and design standards.

• Preferred: Expertise in strategically utilizing agentic AI coding tools.
