Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Enhance a web application

• Develop reliable enterprise integrations

• Expand document processing capabilities

• Reconstruct and improve the web application based on mockups from the Design team using Next.js, React, and TypeScript

• Create user-facing features, including PDF grounding views for reviewing and validating data extracted from documents

• Design, develop, and maintain versioned APIs utilizing Python and Django REST Framework

• Construct and uphold integrations between Pegasus, SAP S/4HANA, and Ivalua

• Scale asynchronous batch processing utilizing Celery for workloads involving up to 10,000 PDF documents

• Utilize PostgreSQL for managing and persisting application data

• Implement user metrics to offer insights into application usage and support data-driven enhancements

• Ensure quality through automated testing, code reviews, documentation, and adherence to engineering best practices

• Identify and address performance bottlenecks across the application, APIs, integrations, and background processing workflows

• Collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions in line with business requirements

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant professional experience in full-stack software development

• Practical experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience in developing APIs using Django REST Framework

• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, including data modeling and database interactions

• Experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrating with external enterprise systems

• Familiarity with asynchronous task processing and background jobs, particularly with Celery

• Knowledge of scalable application architecture, performance optimization, and dependable data processing

• Experience in translating design mockups into responsive, user-friendly interfaces

• Understanding of software testing, version control, code reviews, and maintainable coding practices

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and take ownership of technical solutions

• Nice to have: experience integrating with SAP S/4HANA and procurement or enterprise platforms like Ivalua

• Nice to have: experience processing large quantities of documents, especially PDFs

• Nice to have: familiarity with document preview, annotation, grounding, or validation interfaces

• Nice to have: experience in implementing product analytics, user metrics, and usage tracking

• Nice to have: knowledge of cloud-based deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and application observability
