Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive features by engaging in both backend and frontend tasks, overseeing the complete development lifecycle until production.

• Spearhead technical projects from solution design to implementation, breaking down requirements, executing, testing, and deploying changes into production.

• Enhance applications built with React and services developed in Node.js, ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and maintainability.

• Advance the platform architecture (whether monolithic or microservices), weighing immediate decisions against long-term viability.

• Create robust integrations utilizing retries, timeouts, idempotency, circuit breakers, and fallback strategies.

• Maintain code excellence through automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to engineering best practices.

• Provide support for the production environment by investigating incidents, suggesting enhancements, and participating in postmortem analyses.

• Leverage AI tools throughout the development process to boost productivity, quality, and speed of delivery.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute proactively to the technical advancement of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and frameworks like NestJS and/or Express.

• Strong background in React and modern web application development.

• Proven ability to independently create end-to-end features, collaborating across both frontend and backend.

• Understanding of software architecture, REST APIs, messaging systems, integrations, and distributed architectures.

• Familiarity with MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL, including skills in data modeling and query optimization.

• Experience in automated testing, observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting in production environments.

• Knowledge of AI development tools (AI-first) and their integration into daily workflows.

• Strong communication abilities, sense of ownership, autonomy, and effective collaboration skills with fellow developers.

• Proficiency in English.
