Staff Full Stack Engineer, Post Order Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design and execution of scalable backend services that support CookUnity’s personalization systems.

• Define and lead architectural enhancements to improve reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with Product and Data teams to deliver customized content to users.

• Mentor and guide engineers while establishing standards for technical excellence and proactive ownership.

• Assess and implement new technologies, frameworks, and AI solutions to enhance the backend stack and accelerate development speed.

• Enhance observability, performance, and resilience of revenue-critical systems.

• Produce clean, well-tested, and efficient code as an active engineer.

• Direct technical planning and project execution by breaking down complex challenges into manageable solutions and ensuring timely delivery of initiatives.

• Develop and maintain backend services, databases, APIs, and the Server-Driven UI service within the Backend-for-Frontend architecture.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data, Customer Experience, Operations, engineering leadership, and product managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in full stack/backend software development.

• Proficiency in React, Kotlin, TypeScript, and SQL databases, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Experience in architecting and scaling complex backend systems within a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, and event-driven architecture.

• In-depth knowledge of best practices for system performance and scalability.

• Capability to translate intricate and ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable plans.

• Advanced proficiency in English communication skills.

• Proven experience in mentoring and guiding engineers.

• Ability to leverage generative AI for improved output quality and efficiency.

• Preferred: experience with DevOps tools and cloud platforms, including Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

• Preferred: experience with React Native.

• Experience in the food technology sector is advantageous.
