This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical design and implementation of partner onboarding systems, integration platforms, and APIs that connect external partners to Fanatics ONE.

• Design and develop the Account Linking Platform to integrate external partner accounts with Fanatics ONE identities.

• Lead the development of secure and reliable identity provider integrations on a large scale.

• Create integration systems for loyalty programs including FanCash, Tier Point, and One Credit earning and redemption.

• Establish and uphold technical patterns and standards; conduct code reviews to ensure systems are observable, testable, and maintainable.

• Collaborate with Identity, Loyalty, and SDK engineering teams on APIs, contracts, integration patterns, architecture, and development methodologies.

• Work with external partners and technical teams to convert integration requirements into scalable platform solutions.

• Enhance developer experience through improved tooling, documentation, and self-service options.

• Provide mentorship to engineers through pairing, design reviews, and fostering a strong engineering culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a staff-level or similar technical leadership position.

• Solid full stack engineering expertise encompassing backend services, APIs, and frontend tooling.

• Extensive experience in designing and constructing integration platforms, partner APIs, or systems aimed at developers.

• Proven expertise with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and integrations with identity providers.

• A history of architecting distributed systems that perform reliably at scale.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for fostering alignment among engineering, product, and external stakeholders.

• Experience in a multi-tenant or multi-organization environment.
