Staff Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead the creation of intricate product features and frontend systems utilizing Angular and React.

• Collaborate with backend, integrations, product, design, and QA teams to provide exceptional user experiences.

• Design scalable, reusable frontend patterns that enhance product quality and developer efficiency.

• Recognize and resolve performance bottlenecks, UI architecture challenges, and scalability concerns.

• Promote engineering best practices in testing, observability, code quality, and maintainability.

• Assist teams in making sound technical decisions amid tight deadlines and shifting priorities.

• Oversee delivery on significant initiatives while balancing immediate product requirements with long-term technical sustainability.

• Mentor engineers and elevate the standard of frontend craftsmanship within the team.

• Contribute to fostering collaboration among frontend engineers across various domains.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in frontend engineering.

• Extensive knowledge of Angular and React.

• Proficient in TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, and current frontend architecture patterns.

• Experience in developing reusable component systems and scalable frontend application architectures.

• Comprehensive understanding of performance optimization, debugging, and constructing large-scale web applications.

• Strong product intuition and capability to work cross-functionally in a rapidly changing organization.

• Proven track record in leading significant technical projects and influencing across teams.

• Exceptional mentorship abilities and a history of enhancing the skills of other engineers.

• Outstanding communication and execution skills, particularly in high-pressure situations.

• Significant experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using Jest, Vitest, Playwright, or similar frameworks.

• Capability to develop testing strategies.

• Legally authorized to work in the country of residence.
