Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop product features in Angular and React alongside designers, product managers, and engineers.

• Design efficient, reusable frontend code that enhances the ClickUp user experience.

• Collaborate with backend and integration teams to implement comprehensive features.

• Partner with QA to ensure thorough test coverage and maintain product quality across various edge cases.

• Detect and address performance, scalability, and usability challenges.

• Create and uphold unit and integration tests.

• Resolve bugs swiftly and provide sustainable solutions to complex product issues.

• Adhere to established frontend architecture and state management conventions.

• Oversee project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables in a dynamic environment.

• Contribute to shaping the future of work through ClickUp’s AI workspace that integrates tasks, documents, chat, calendar, and enterprise search.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.

• Proficiency in Angular or React is essential.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript and RxJS.

• Familiarity with NgRx or similar Redux-style state management.

• Strong grasp of reusable component architecture and frontend performance optimization.

• Solid foundations in HTML/CSS, including layout, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and maintainable design practices.

• Demonstrated ability to act swiftly, take initiative, and deliver with urgency.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience in mentoring colleagues and enhancing engineering standards.

• Significant experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using Jest, Vitest, Playwright, or similar frameworks.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of residence.
