Principal Frontend Engineer

📋 Description

• Define and lead the strategy for frontend architecture across various product domains and platform investments.

• Spearhead the design of scalable and efficient systems utilizing Angular and React to facilitate rapid product development.

• Tackle intricate technical challenges that span multiple teams, focusing on performance, state management, scalability, and developer productivity.

• Collaborate with backend and integration teams to establish the end-to-end architecture for significant features and systems.

• Elevate standards for quality, testing, maintainability, and engineering rigor throughout the frontend organization.

• Offer technical guidance on critical initiatives and assist teams in overcoming ambiguous or challenging issues.

• Steer teams toward practical decisions that enhance both speed and long-term product quality.

• Mentor senior and staff engineers, contributing to the development of frontend engineering culture and standards.

• Shape roadmap and organizational choices through strong technical insight and product collaboration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in frontend engineering, with substantial expertise in large-scale web applications.

• Expert-level proficiency in Angular, React, TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx or comparable state management frameworks.

• Demonstrated success in architecting complex frontend systems that serve a large user base.

• In-depth knowledge of performance optimization, frontend scalability, maintainable application design, and reusable component architecture.

• Experience in driving technical strategy across multiple teams or product sectors.

• Strong ability to balance speed, quality, and long-term architecture within fast-paced environments.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with a knack for influencing across various functions and levels.

• A solid mentoring background and a passion for fostering high-performing engineering teams.

• Familiarity with testing infrastructure and the capability to define testing strategies for large-scale feature modifications.

• Proficient in leveraging AI on a daily basis; AI fluency will be assessed during the hiring process.
