Staff Engineer, ServiceNow – GRC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Create and assess high-quality configurations.

• Comprehend client business use cases and technical requirements, translating them into technical designs.

• Align decisions with requirements and convey them to developers.

• Identify and assess solution alternatives to fulfill client needs.

• Establish guidelines and benchmarks for non-functional requirements during project execution.

• Compose and evaluate design documents that encompass application architecture, framework, and high-level design.

• Analyze architecture and design for extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, and non-functional requirements.

• Develop and design comprehensive solutions for both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Specify technologies, patterns, and frameworks for implementation.

• Grasp and apply technology integration scenarios within projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Total Experience - 5.5+ years.

• Robust working experience with ServiceNow architecture, application development, and implementation.

• Strong proficiency in ServiceNow modules, particularly GRC and Legal.

• Comprehensive understanding of ServiceNow platform components such as Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, Flow Designer, etc.

• Solid knowledge in MID Server setup, platform upgrades, troubleshooting, and integrations.

• Extensive experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide), Web Services (REST, SOAP), SRAPI, and import set APIs.

• Experience in designing and implementing custom scoped applications.

• Proven track record of executing large-scale ServiceNow implementations in enterprise settings.

• Strong grasp of software engineering principles, including version control, CI/CD, and unit testing.

• Capacity to consult and influence technical decisions and architectural best practices.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Prior experience in enterprise software development within ServiceNow-competitive application domains.

• Familiarity with SOA technologies including REST, SOAP, and integration techniques.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
