This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee the complete Salesforce Health Cloud solution architecture and delivery for large-scale healthcare implementations.
• Take ownership of the overall technical strategy for Health Cloud, ensuring compliance with scalability, security, and HIPAA/PHI regulations.
• Analyze client business use cases and technical requirements, transforming them into actionable technical designs.
• Align architectural choices with requirements and convey them effectively to development teams.
• Assess, evaluate, and select solutions that fulfill client specifications.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, architects, and senior leadership regarding Health Cloud capabilities and best practices.
• Review and authorize both high-level and low-level technical designs.
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, including governor-limit optimization, performance tuning, and code quality standards.
• Provide guidance on Salesforce security, data access, sharing rules, consent management, and compliance matters.
• Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders and Salesforce technical teams.
• Work closely with Salesforce Architects and Developers to create scalable solutions.
• Confirm the feasibility of solutions against Salesforce capabilities and project limitations.
• Prepare and maintain process flows, business process models, functional diagrams, and related documentation.
• Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Enhance user adoption through the development of training materials, user guides, and release notes.
• Evaluate existing Salesforce implementations, providing recommendations for process improvements and optimization.
• Establish guidelines and benchmarks for non-functional requirements.
• Author and review architecture, framework, and high-level design documentation.
• Assess architecture and design for extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, and non-functional requirements.
• Develop comprehensive solutions and specify technologies, patterns, and frameworks.
• Diagnose and resolve code issues through systematic root-cause analysis.
• Conduct proofs of concept to validate proposed designs and technologies.
• Mentor team members and ensure accountability for high delivery standards.
• A minimum of 5.5 years of overall experience.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end Salesforce Health Cloud solution architecture and delivery for extensive enterprise healthcare projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Health Cloud features, including Patient/Member Profiles, Care Plans, Care Programs, Care Teams, Health Timelines, Assessments, Care Gaps, and Utilization Management.
• Experience in translating complex healthcare business needs into scalable Salesforce Health Cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with Salesforce core, Health Cloud extensions, integrations, data models, and automation techniques.
• Practical leadership experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience in defining and governing integration architecture utilizing REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, FHIR, and HL7.
• Strong comprehension of EHR/EMR integrations, payer/provider workflows, and patient/member lifecycle management.
• Experience in leading requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Background in providing technical governance, conducting design/code reviews, and managing architectural risks and technical debt.
• Experience mentoring and leading multi-shore Salesforce teams, including developers, admins, QA, and offshore delivery teams.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools like Copado, Git, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
• Ability to collaborate with program managers on project scope, timelines, risks, and delivery commitments.
• Experience in fostering innovation and continuous improvement, including PoCs, new Salesforce Health Cloud features, and platform advancements.
• Knowledge of roadmap planning, release strategy, and long-term platform evolution.
• Extensive experience in Agile/Scaled Agile environments, including sprint planning and release management.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
