This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Lead the comprehensive Salesforce Health Cloud solution architecture and delivery for large-scale healthcare projects.
• Grasp client business use cases and technical requirements, transforming them into technical designs.
• Oversee the overall technical strategy for Health Cloud, ensuring scalability, security, and adherence to HIPAA/PHI standards.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, architects, and senior leadership regarding Health Cloud capabilities and best practices.
• Review and approve both high-level and low-level technical designs.
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, including governor limit optimization, performance tuning, and code quality standards.
• Guide teams on Salesforce security, data access, sharing rules, consent management, and compliance protocols.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and Salesforce technical teams.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Architects and Developers to create scalable solutions.
• Assess solution feasibility in relation to Salesforce platform capabilities and project constraints.
• Prepare and maintain process flows, business process models, functional diagrams, and documentation.
• Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Facilitate user adoption through the creation of training materials, user guides, and release notes.
• Analyze current Salesforce implementations and suggest process improvements and optimization opportunities.
• Establish guidelines and benchmarks for non-functional requirements.
• Draft and review architecture, framework, and high-level design documents.
• Examine architecture and design for aspects such as extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, and non-functional requirements.
• Develop comprehensive solutions for both functional and non-functional requirements, determining technologies, patterns, and frameworks.
• Resolve code and review issues through systematic root-cause analysis.
• Conduct proof of concepts to validate proposed designs and technologies.
• Mentor team members and hold them accountable for maintaining high delivery standards.
• A minimum of 7.5 years of overall experience.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end Salesforce Health Cloud solution architecture and delivery for large enterprise healthcare implementations.
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Health Cloud features, including Patient/Member Profiles, Care Plans, Care Programs, Care Teams, Health Timelines, Assessments, Care Gaps, and Utilization Management.
• Experience in translating complex healthcare business requirements into scalable Salesforce Health Cloud solutions.
• Proven track record of making architecture decisions across Salesforce core, Health Cloud extensions, integrations, data models, and automation.
• Hands-on leadership experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs.
• Proficiency in defining and governing integration architecture using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, FHIR, and HL7.
• Strong comprehension of EHR/EMR integrations, payer/provider workflows, and patient/member lifecycle management.
• Experience in leading requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Proven experience in providing technical governance, conducting design/code reviews, managing architectural risks, and overseeing technical debt.
• Experience in leading and mentoring multi-shore Salesforce teams including developers, admins, QA, and offshore delivery teams.
• Practical experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Copado, Git, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
• Experience collaborating with program managers on scope, timelines, risks, and delivery commitments.
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, conduct proof of concepts, facilitate Salesforce Health Cloud feature adoption, and enhance the platform.
• Experience with roadmap planning, release strategy, and long-term platform evolution.
• Strong experience in Agile / Scaled Agile environments, including sprint planning and release management.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
