This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Execute the vision and roadmap for the HR Data Governance Strategy.
• Create and implement Data Quality processes to facilitate proactive issue resolution.
• Advance the existing Data Quality implementation utilizing AI and emerging technologies, including AI-driven detection of Data Quality issues.
• Foster engagement with Senior Leadership through regular reporting and dashboards focused on priority Data Quality concerns.
• Assume responsibility for key requirements from a Data Quality or Data Domain viewpoint, collaborating with the Data Governance Director.
• Assist in metadata management, which includes definitions, data lineage, data classification, and maintaining HR entries in the data catalogue.
• Aid in the Data Access controls established for Global Data Products.
• Comprehend data opportunities presented by customers, users, and business leads, particularly those from BI&A, HR, and Finance stakeholders.
• Facilitate the sustainable delivery of customer value in alignment with the Data Governance roadmap.
• Accomplish Data Governance priority areas and cohesive action plans.
• Monitor and report aligned KPIs and key results, creating metrics to assess maturity and Data Quality.
• Prioritize data opportunities and communicate with stakeholders to ensure effective delivery.
• Identify and escalate risks, mitigation strategies, and key decisions to relevant stakeholders.
• Detect gaps and opportunities within HR data and implement controls to identify data issues before they have an impact.
• Standardize definitions and data flows across functions and geographies while identifying global issues related to critical data attributes.
• Support Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Data Architecture, and Data Product development priorities.
• Create analytics, frameworks, and KPIs for managing Data Quality issues, Data Security, Data Profiling, and Data Governance maturity.
• Ensure compliance with data policies, standards, and guidelines while maintaining Data Governance artefacts like the Data Catalog, classification, and data quality standards.
• Total experience: 6+ years.
• Minimum of 3 years in data-related or project roles, such as Data Management, Data Governance, CDO Office, or BI & Analytics teams.
• Previous experience with HR data is preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with data quality tools, databases, data warehousing, and data analysis techniques.
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to pinpoint data quality issues and devise effective solutions.
• A keen interest in addressing business-oriented data challenges comprehensively, with precision and attention to detail.
• Understanding of Data Governance industry best practices, including DAMA’s DMBoK, CDMP, and EDM Council’s DCAM, is advantageous.
• Practical experience with Data Governance tools such as Data Catalogs and Data Quality Tools.
• A solid grasp of HR constructs and domains, data technologies like Snowflake, and core transactional systems such as Workday, iCIMS, eightfold.ai, Oracle, and SAP will be beneficial.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
