This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Act as the primary technical Data Engineering liaison for Credit, Collections, and international operations involving both individual and corporate clients.
• Create and enhance intricate batch and real-time data ingestion pipelines.
• Develop APIs for data extraction, deployment, and integration with partner systems and risk bureaus.
• Oversee the maintenance and development of credit pipelines, which include credit limit increases and behavioral scoring.
• Engage in expected loss and provisioning workflows.
• Track the delinquency funnel from 2 to 1,800 days throughout the collections process.
• Construct data ecosystems to support Machine Learning models, analytical workflows, and risk engines.
• Supervise end-to-end operational health, ensuring data quality and performing API stress testing.
• Implement FinOps practices to optimize computing costs.
• Utilize generative AI, Cursor or similar tools, prompt engineering, and requirements specification.
• Facilitate the translation of requirements between business units and technical teams.
• Generate technical documentation, trade-off analyses, and roadmaps.
• Collaborate using Scrum/Kanban methodologies, strategic OKRs, and dynamic prioritization.
• Effectively manage time and lead problem-solving initiatives in critical situations.
• Advanced expertise in Python and data engineering ecosystems and workflows.
• Demonstrated experience in data and software architecture, particularly in constructing complex batch and real-time ingestion pipelines.
• Strong background in developing and deploying APIs for seamless data integration between various systems and partners.
• Knowledge and practical experience with observability, telemetry, and API stress-testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with and practical application of generative AI tools for development, including vibe coding with Cursor or equivalent tools, as well as prompt engineering.
• Excellent self-management abilities, analytical thinking, adaptability, and a capacity to collaborate effectively with business areas to meet requirements.
• Preferred: experience in the financial sector, especially in Credit, Collections, or Risk Bureaus.
• Preferred: experience in integrating pipelines with Data Science and Machine Learning initiatives.
• Preferred: understanding of FinOps culture and practices.
