This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Execute the vision and roadmap for the HR Data Governance Strategy.
• Create and implement Data Quality processes to facilitate proactive issue resolution.
• Advance Data Quality practices through the use of AI and emerging technologies, including AI-enhanced detection of Data Quality issues.
• Foster engagement with Senior Leadership via regular reports and dashboards focused on key Data Quality matters.
• Assume responsibility for priority requirements from both Data Quality and Data Domain perspectives, collaborating with the Data Governance Director.
• Assist in metadata management, encompassing definitions, data lineage, data classification, and HR elements within the data catalogue.
• Support Data Access controls for Global Data Products.
• Recognize data opportunities from customers, users, and business leaders across BI&A, HR, and Finance.
• Provide customer value aligned with the established Data Governance roadmap.
• Deliver on Data Governance priority areas while developing cohesive action plans.
• Monitor and report KPIs and key outcomes, creating metrics for Data Governance maturity and Data Quality.
• Prioritize data opportunities and engage with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Identify and escalate risks, mitigation strategies, and crucial decisions.
• Detect gaps and opportunities within HR data and implement controls to preemptively identify issues before they cause impact.
• Standardize definitions and data flows across functions and regions, identifying global issues related to critical data attributes.
• Assist in HR Data Governance initiatives including Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Data Architecture, and Data Product development priorities.
• Create analytics, frameworks, and KPIs for managing Data Quality Issues, Data Security, Data Profiling, and Data Governance maturity.
• Ensure compliance with data policies, standards, and guidelines, while maintaining Data Governance artefacts such as the Data Catalog, classification, and data quality standards.
• Total experience: 6+ years.
• At least 3 years of experience in data-related or project roles, including Data Management, Data Governance, CDO Office, or BI & Analytics.
• Previous experience with HR data is preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with data quality tools, databases, data warehousing, and data analysis methodologies.
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, and data visualization tools like Tableau.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to recognize data quality issues and devise effective solutions.
• Understanding of Data Governance industry best practices, such as DAMA's DMBoK, CDMP, and EDM Council's DCAM, is advantageous.
• Practical experience with Data Governance tools, including Data Catalogs and Data Quality Tools.
• Solid grasp of HR constructs and domains, data technologies such as Snowflake, and core transactional systems like Workday, iCIMS, eightfold.ai, Oracle, and SAP will be beneficial.
• Enthusiasm for addressing business-oriented data challenges comprehensively, with precision and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
