Staff Defensive Security Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Integrate extensive security expertise with practical full-stack development to design, prototype, and deliver innovative security features within NodeZero.

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to pinpoint high-impact opportunities.

• Work alongside product engineers to swiftly transform concepts into MVPs and production-ready features.

• Concentrate on the creation, deployment, and detection logic of honeytokens and honeypots for Tripwires and related products like Rapid Response.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in large-scale Python software development.

• Extensive experience with network security issues, including reconnaissance and lateral movement.

• Skilled in Active Directory, Windows authentication, and other Windows internals.

• Strong comprehension of network protocols, including SMB and WMI.

• Experience with relational (Postgres) or graph (Neo4j) database systems.

• At least 4 years of experience in developing offensive or defensive security solutions.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• OSCP, GCWN, or equivalent certifications.
