Staff Data Scientist

📋 Description

• Become a part of the central Data Science & Analytics team while integrating into growth, product, AI and automation, or strategic partnerships.

• Take full ownership of the analytical function for a designated business unit from start to finish.

• Identify business challenges, clarify the decisions they influence, and question any misleading inquiries.

• Establish metrics and create reports.

• Conduct analyses and design experiments.

• Extract insights that enhance critical business metrics.

• Present suggestions to counterparts in product, growth, finance, or operations.

• Clarify what is occurring, why it is occurring, and propose recommended actions.

• Lead analytical projects through execution and ensure measurable results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth tech company.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Proficient in independently retrieving, structuring, and interpreting data.

• Proven track record of tackling ambiguous problems and delivering impactful results.

• Excellent and persuasive communication skills.

• Ability to influence decisions at the executive level.

• Analytical expertise in SQL or Python.

• Familiarity with SQL (ClickHouse), Metabase, Python, Jupyter Hub, and GitHub.

• Must currently reside in an eligible location: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Ontario, Canada.
