Senior Data Scientist

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete analytical function for a growing embedded business unit focusing on product, AI and automation, or strategic partnerships.

• Identify the business challenges and decisions that require analytical insights.

• Establish metrics and create comprehensive reports.

• Conduct analyses and design experiments to derive meaningful conclusions.

• Highlight data insights that enhance essential business metrics.

• Deliver recommendations to teams in product, growth, finance, or operations.

• Clarify ongoing situations, the reasons behind them, and suggest actionable next steps.

• Lead initiatives from inception through to execution and measurable outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders within the business unit and the central Data Science & Analytics team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a consulting firm, investment banking, or a rapidly growing technology organization.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Proficiency in independently extracting, structuring, and interpreting data.

• Proven history of tackling ambiguous challenges and achieving impactful results.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence decisions at the leadership level.

• Proficient in SQL or Python.

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada.

• Current residency in one of the eligible locations: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada.
