Associate Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +16 more locations.

📋 Description

• Become a member of the central Data Science & Analytics team, integrating with growth, product, AI and automation, or strategic partnerships.

• Take ownership of the analytical responsibilities for a designated business unit from start to finish.

• Identify business challenges, clarify the decisions that each analysis will influence, and question any flawed inquiries.

• Establish metrics and create reports.

• Conduct analyses and design experiments.

• Extract insights that enhance crucial business metrics.

• Deliver recommendations to product, growth, finance, or operations teams.

• Clarify current situations, explain the reasons behind them, and propose subsequent steps.

• Propel decisions and ensure the successful execution of initiatives through to completion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a consulting firm, investment bank, or a rapidly growing technology company.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Ability to independently gather, structure, and interpret data.

• Proven history of tackling ambiguous challenges and delivering results.

• Effective and persuasive communication skills, capable of influencing leadership-level decisions.

• Proficient in SQL or Python.

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada.

• Must currently live in an eligible hiring location: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada.

• Familiarity with SQL (ClickHouse), Metabase, Python, Jupyter Hub, and GitHub.
