Staff Data Scientist

📋 Description

• Oversee the analytical operations for a dedicated business unit from start to finish

• Assist in growth marketing, product innovation, artificial intelligence and automation, or strategic alliances

• Identify business challenges, confirm the questions being posed, and determine the decisions that analyses should guide

• Establish key metrics and develop comprehensive reports

• Conduct analyses and create experimental designs

• Extract insights that enhance critical business performance indicators

• Deliver recommendations to product, growth, finance, or operations teams

• Clarify ongoing trends, provide explanations for them, and suggest subsequent actions

• Propel decisions and carry out initiatives until completion

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 6 years of experience in a consulting firm, investment banking, or a rapidly growing tech company

• Exceptional analytical capabilities

• Competence in extracting, structuring, and interpreting data autonomously

• Proven history of tackling ambiguous challenges and making a significant impact

• Strong, persuasive communication skills that can influence decisions at the leadership level

• Analytical expertise in SQL or Python

• Familiarity with SQL (ClickHouse), Metabase, Python, Jupyter Hub, and GitHub

• Must currently live in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Ontario, Canada

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada
