This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design and implement machine learning models, statistical analyses, and predictive analytics utilizing Python and Databricks.
β’ Create and sustain scalable data science workflows leveraging Databricks, PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, and other cloud data technologies.
β’ Collaborate with MDM processes and frameworks to ensure consistent, accurate, and reliable master data across various source systems.
β’ Investigate and resolve data quality, duplication, matching, and entity-resolution challenges within member, provider, patient, and other healthcare-related datasets.
β’ Partner with Data Engineering, Product, Analytics, and business stakeholders to convert healthcare business challenges into data science solutions.
β’ Establish data validation, profiling, and quality-monitoring methodologies to enhance the reliability of analytical datasets.
β’ Conduct exploratory data analysis and uncover trends, patterns, and insights to support member engagement and healthcare outcomes.
β’ Contribute to feature engineering, model assessment, experimentation, and the deployment of data science solutions into production.
β’ Ensure data solutions comply with relevant healthcare data privacy, security, and governance regulations, including HIPAA where applicable.
β’ Document models, datasets, assumptions, methodologies, and data lineage to facilitate reproducibility and governance.
β’ Over 8 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, or a similar field.
β’ Proficient hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark.
β’ Advanced skills in Python and SQL.
β’ Experience in developing and deploying machine learning or predictive models.
β’ Strong grasp of Master Data Management (MDM) principles, including data matching and deduplication, entity resolution, golden/master records, data standardization, data quality, and reference/master data.
β’ Experience handling large-scale structured and semi-structured datasets.
β’ Familiarity with Delta Lake / Lakehouse architecture.
β’ Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and data lineage.
β’ Background in working with healthcare, payer, provider, patient, or other regulated data is preferred.
β’ Experience in a HIPAA-regulated environment is highly desirable.
β’ Knowledge of healthcare member/patient data and healthcare data models.
β’ Experience with MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM, Reltio, IBM MDM, or similar technologies.
β’ Proficiency with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
β’ Familiarity with MLflow or similar model lifecycle management tools.
β’ Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics/visualization platforms.
β’ Ability to build production-grade ML/data science pipelines.
β’ Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, or claims data is a plus.
