This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Utilize extensive bench, clinical, manufacturing, and real-world data to pinpoint the primary factors affecting product performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Work in collaboration with firmware, hardware, algorithm, sensor/membrane, and mechanical engineering design teams.
• Create and develop scalable analytical tools, dashboards, and data workflows.
• Formulate models, machine learning solutions, and advanced analytical techniques to produce actionable insights.
• Spearhead exploratory projects to assess hypotheses, discover opportunities, and enhance methodologies.
• Offer technical guidance in data science and analytics.
• Shape study design, success metrics, and analytical strategy for pivotal development programs.
• Partner with product owners, project managers, designers, and other team members.
• Demonstrated industry experience utilizing data science, statistics, or machine learning for intricate product, technology, or business challenges.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Hands-on experience extracting insights from health sensing time series data using statistical modeling, machine learning, or other analytical approaches.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and statistical programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
• Experience in managing and querying datasets and databases of varying sizes and levels of cleanliness.
• Profound understanding of statistical inference, experimental design, predictive modeling, uncertainty quantification, and data visualization.
• Capability to independently handle and consult with stakeholders on complex projects to establish success criteria and timelines.
• Established history of influencing decisions and generating measurable impact through data-driven recommendations.
• Generally requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 8–12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 5–7 years of equivalent industry experience, or a PhD with 2–4 years of experience.
• Travel required: 0–5%.
