This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the comprehensive execution of several simultaneous data center infrastructure initiatives.
• Oversee Greenfield projects, colocation white space fit-outs, equipment upgrades, and lifecycle replacements.
• Supervise MEP contractors and equipment suppliers throughout the construction phase.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, low voltage, network engineering, operations, HPC, supply chain, and technical project management teams.
• Track project timelines, budgets, forecasts, scope objectives, and construction progress.
• Evaluate OFCI equipment submittals and manage the procurement and installation processes.
• Engage in design reviews that involve designs, Sequence of Operations, Basis of Design documents, and commissioning plans.
• Assist with RFPs, proposal assessments, vendor selection, and monitoring vendor performance.
• Create and present detailed reports to executive leadership and project teams.
• Provide both formal and informal updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate construction progress, design implementation, quality, and adherence to specifications.
• Contribute to design enhancements, adoption of emerging technologies, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• 10+ years of experience overseeing data center construction or critical infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing data center construction initiatives, including Greenfield projects, colocation fit-outs, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Comprehensive understanding of MEP systems, covering electrical, mechanical, and low voltage trades.
• Experience in managing OFCI equipment procurement, submittals, and installation processes.
• Proficient in evaluating technical design documentation, including Basis of Design, Sequence of Operations, and commissioning plans.
• Competent in managing construction schedules and budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
• Familiar with project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet, and construction tracking/reporting platforms.
• Strong skills in documentation, writing, analysis, communication, and interpersonal relations.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to conduct regular data center site visits and travel up to 50% of the time.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States or seek sponsorship.
