This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of Eve's go-to-market data model and set standards for the analytics engineering team.
• Develop models for pipeline, funnel, campaign, and revenue using data from HubSpot, DealHub, Apollo, and Clay within the warehouse and semantic layer.
• Create, implement, and manage reliable semantic models for pipeline coverage, funnel conversion, CAC, win rate, sales cycle duration, ARR, and bookings.
• Expand on source-to-staging models and conformed dimensions.
• Implement models for alerting to identify failures and data drift.
• Keep documentation updated for all owned models, metrics, and definitions.
• Develop internal AI agents and data-driven tools for GTM stakeholders.
• Manage the metrics certification framework and catalog.
• Establish modeling standards and semantic-layer patterns.
• Certify governed metric definitions and mediate conflicting definitions across teams.
• Create analytical application development patterns in Omni and Hex.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and RevOps stakeholders.
• Mentor analytics engineers and elevate the technical standards.
• Report directly to the Head of Data Engineering.
• Over 8 years of experience in analytics engineering, including a role at a staff or senior IC level where you set the technical direction for others.
• Extensive expertise in SQL, data modeling, and transformation, with advanced knowledge of dbt: including modeling patterns, macros, packages, and testing.
• Experience in building Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD) tables from various sources.
• In-depth knowledge of Snowflake, dbt, and a semantic or BI layer like Omni or Hex.
• Experience in designing semantic models or metric layers suitable for both human and AI use.
• Familiarity with modeling GTM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or comparable CRM and marketing automation platforms.
• Proven experience in resolving metric discrepancies across teams and establishing a unified definition.
• Experience in setting modeling standards and evaluating contributions from external team members.
• Proficient in AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, including agentic pipeline design and skill-based workflows.
• Comfortable integrating tools via MCP servers.
• Exceptional communication skills, mentoring ability, and adaptability in creating processes where none currently exist.
