This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform in-depth strategic analyses focused on customer experience elements such as cleanliness, check-in, and communication.
• Identify symptoms, determine root causes, and propose actionable interventions.
• Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests along with quasi-experiments.
• Develop and utilize causal inference frameworks to assess the effects of product, policy, and operational modifications.
• Utilize LLMs and AI-driven analytics to derive structured insights from unstructured data and enhance root-cause taxonomy generation across millions of trips.
• Create and validate metrics and dimensions to monitor customer experience health and highlight emerging quality concerns.
• Construct and maintain queries, dashboards, and reports for stakeholder self-service access.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Advanced Analytics teams on methodologies, assumptions, and interpretations.
• Convert intricate analyses into straightforward recommendations for senior leadership.
• Manage the entire process from framing problems to delivering leadership-ready recommendations.
• Over 10 years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or applied quantitative analysis; industry experience is essential.
• Proficient hands-on skills in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R).
• Demonstrated experience in designing and analyzing A/B experiments and applying statistical methods to real-world product challenges.
• Familiarity with causal inference techniques, including difference-in-differences, synthetic controls, and propensity scoring.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted analytics workflows, such as Claude, ChatGPT, internal LLM agents, prompt engineering, and structured extraction from unstructured text, as well as employing LLMs as classifiers or evaluators.
• Experience in developing metrics from start to finish, encompassing definitions, validation, and implementation within data pipelines.
• Strong analytical judgment with the ability to balance thoroughness with efficiency and communicate trade-offs effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, particularly in presenting to senior, non-technical audiences.
• Capacity to work independently, manage various priorities, and meet established deadlines.
• Experience in marketplace, product analytics, customer experience, or trust & safety areas is highly preferred.
