Community Manager – Korea

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Act as the main liaison for Korean traders, ecosystem creators, and community members within the Aptos and Decibel networks.

• Establish, engage, and expand local trading communities using platforms such as Telegram, Kakao, Discord, X, and through in-person events.

• Attract and maintain active traders while converting high-value traders, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and trading communities into engaged Decibel users and advocates for the ecosystem.

• Organize and implement local events, meetups, Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions, and trading competitions.

• Facilitate connections between ecosystem builders and projects with technical resources, funding prospects, and co-marketing assistance.

• Collect and analyze feedback and sentiments from the trading community to inform product, engineering, and marketing teams.

• Collaborate to customize campaigns, content, and programs tailored for the Korean market.

• Foster long-term relationships with traders, founders, developer communities, and industry partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in community management, ecosystem development, or trader relations within the web3 space.

• Active engagement or significant participation in crypto trading communities.

• Relevant experience with derivatives, perpetual contracts, and on-chain trading products.

• Established connections within the Korean crypto trading ecosystem.

• Profound understanding of the Korean web3 landscape, including local platforms, communities, and dynamics of trader acquisition.

• Practical experience in organizing AMAs, trading competitions, workshops, or regional meetups.

• Excellent communication skills in both Korean and English.

• Capability to effectively engage with traders, builders, and technical teams alike.

• Comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.

• Openness to travel within Korea and the surrounding region as required.

• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is strongly preferred.

• Willingness and capability to travel and represent Aptos as needed is strongly preferred.
