This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Coordinate, gather, and evaluate financial and cost data for the organization and related grants/contracts.
• Act as a fiscal partner to Executive Directors managing workforce development initiatives.
• Develop procedures and policies to ensure effective financial reporting and compliance with Federal WIOA, as well as local, State, and corporate regulations.
• Guarantee that projects meet their financial obligations in alignment with policies, budgets, and WIOA requirements.
• Prepare and sustain project budgets, forecasts, and working capital necessities.
• Track government contracts and private restricted funding to ensure complete financial utilization.
• Process employee expenses, vendor project invoices, and program payroll analytics.
• Execute month-end closing tasks, including Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Compile supporting documentation for monthly contract billing.
• Assist with annual audit requirements and manage periodic program audit inquiries.
• Supervise and finalize the software client invoicing process.
• Report on project financial status, manage project forecasts, and conduct modeling for strategic planning and analysis.
• Undertake other duties and projects as necessary.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with US government contracts is preferred.
• Must possess a solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), with the ability to reconcile balance sheets and profit/loss statements, along with implementing fiscal management policies and procedures.
• Exhibit strong proficiency in advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Excel and Accounting Software like QuickBooks.
• Professional communication ability with a strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
• Experience managing sensitive and confidential information.
• Familiarity with interactions involving Executives, Upper Management, and third-party funding sources.
• Must be proactive, hands-on, and adaptable to competitive work demands.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational, analytical, research, and critical thinking capabilities.
• Ability to meet month-end accounting deadlines, demonstrate initiative, and work independently as well as in a virtual team setting.
• Ability to thrive under pressure, completing a high volume of assignments efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate effectively with others, displaying courtesy and a high level of professionalism.
