This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Manage the entire accounts payable process from start to finish, ensuring invoices are reviewed and coded accurately.
• Oversee payroll processing for each cycle, guaranteeing accuracy in pay runs and collaborating with Rippling on tax and compliance filings.
• Administer the company credit card program along with employee reimbursements utilizing Ramp.
• Assist in managing benefit plans as the organization transitions away from its PEO.
• Contribute to month-end closing procedures and other accounting closing tasks.
• Aid in cash management and other daily accounting functions.
• Collaborate with People Ops on payroll-related inquiries and procedures.
• Facilitate a seamless transition as payroll and benefits are fully integrated in-house.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or at least 5 years of experience in accounts payable and payroll across various settings.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in processing accounts payable and payroll.
• Strong preference for experience with Rippling; similar platforms like Workday will also be considered.
• Preference for experience with Ramp; similar platforms such as Brex or Bill.com will be evaluated as well.
• A solid grasp of AP coding and fundamental accounting principles.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; prior startup experience is an advantage.
• Must possess authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Successful completion of relevant background checks, where permitted by law.
