This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee bi-weekly payroll processing submissions to Paylocity.
• Manage employee records, including onboarding, terminations, salary modifications, and tax elections.
• Examine timesheets and address discrepancies in collaboration with managers.
• Act as the primary resource for employee inquiries regarding paystubs, taxes, and timesheets.
• Ensure the confidentiality of payroll and employee information is maintained.
• Review payroll tax filings and complete state tax registrations.
• Maintain state payroll tax accounts, including filings, payments, and communications with agencies across relevant jurisdictions.
• Complete payroll-related submissions, such as 401(k) contributions and HSA submissions.
• Guarantee compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Archive records related to payroll, payroll taxes, and benefits.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes within HR systems.
• Administer benefit programs, utilize carrier websites, and reconcile invoices from payroll and benefit vendors.
• Manage Concur expense reports and facilitate reimbursements through payroll.
• Project future payroll cash needs.
• Aid in the monthly accounting close and reporting, including vacation accrual and payroll liabilities.
• Lead year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation.
• Undertake special accounting and HR projects as required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in payroll submission and accounting for small businesses, along with expertise in payroll taxes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to supporting the growth of Innovu and the priorities of the Finance Team.
• Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills, including proficiency in pivot tables and VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP functions.
• Strong skills in customer service.
• Proven ability to learn new software applications quickly.
• Self-driven and comfortable working independently with general supervision.
