This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Oversee regional payroll projects throughout EMEA, which encompass payroll vendor transitions, modifications to legal entities, payroll implementations, consolidations, enhancements to systems, and improvements in processes within Unit4 Teta HR, Deel, and Workday.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle, covering scope, requirements, process design, project planning, governance, timelines, testing, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.
• Coordinate activities related to vendor implementation, including data readiness, configuration assessments, integration dependencies, parallel payroll validation, defect resolution, and ensuring production readiness.
• Maintain project documentation such as plans, milestone tracking, decision logs, risk and issue registers, test evidence, cutover checklists, status reports, and contingency plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners to clarify roles, secure decisions, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment on project outcomes.
• Identify risks related to delivery, compliance, data, and operations; escalate issues as necessary and implement plans for mitigation.
• Lead change management initiatives, including stakeholder communication, development of operating procedures, knowledge transfer, training materials, and post-implementation reviews.
• Provide operational payroll support and assistance to Senior Payroll Analysts, encompassing payroll reviews, reconciliations, audits, year-end activities, complex transactions, vendor-related issues, and resolution of problems.
• Evaluate payroll controls and procedures, maintain relevant documentation, support service metrics and vendor performance reporting, and suggest enhancements to improve payroll accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least six years of progressive payroll experience, including multi-country or regional payroll delivery.
• Proven experience in leading payroll vendor transitions, payroll implementations, modifications to legal entities, or similar payroll transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, requirements gathering, testing, risk management, cutover, go-live, and stabilization phases.
• Familiarity with payroll operations, controls, and compliance considerations throughout EMEA.
• Experience working with payroll providers, HR information systems, payroll platforms, timekeeping systems, and payroll data interfaces.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with stakeholder management, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in executing payroll transformation in global organizations with multiple entities, providers, and stakeholder groups.
• Formal training or certification in project management, change management, or process improvement.
• Skills in collaboration, communication, customer service, Microsoft Office, professional presentation, project management, research, teamwork, time management, and writing.
