This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute accounting tasks for various business transactions, ensuring all are accurately recorded and reflected in the financial statements.
• Assess financial data and apply independent judgment to pinpoint discrepancies, resolve issues with the accounting operating system when feasible, compile statistical data, and establish procedures to enhance existing processes.
• Conduct research on a diverse range of financial topics to offer insights or recommendations that influence the organization's operations.
• Prepare general ledger entries, perform reconciliations, and generate financial reports in compliance with GAAP.
• Follow and adhere to internal controls over accounting procedures as outlined by senior management.
• Frequently collaborate with various departments within the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• Experience in General Ledger accounting and reconciliation within a corporate setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of GAAP principles.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet specific project deadlines.
• Experience in preparing detailed accounting schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret P&L statements.
• Strong computer skills, along with presentation and organizational abilities.
