Staff Accountant, JV & MSA Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assemble and organize extensive data files and reports received from partnerships.

• Document various transactions within the accounting system.

• Ensure accurate and current accounting records, encompassing the general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, roll-forward schedules, and bank reconciliations.

• Calculate monthly and annual fees earned in accordance with partner contracts.

• Prepare analyses for provider and clinical staffing.

• Conduct monthly variance analysis for P&L accounts and record variances that surpass threshold amounts.

• Support the annual financial audit by collecting necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

• Complete miscellaneous projects and reconciliations as required.

• Collaborate closely with partner accounting and finance teams alongside the Intuitive Health Joint Venture Operations team.

• Report directly to the Accounting Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

• Over 1 year of experience in general ledger and month-end closing processes.

• Experience in the healthcare sector is an advantage.

• Advanced/expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, and similar functions.

• Strong computer proficiency.

• Detail-oriented, with robust analytical and reconciliation capabilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Professional demeanor for interacting with individuals across all organizational levels.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced setting with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

• Effective multitasking skills to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.

• Proactive mindset, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented approach.

• Must reside in Texas and be available to attend quarterly meetings at the corporate service center located in Plano, Texas.
