Staff Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire accounts receivable process, which includes reviewing invoices, managing collections, applying cash, and reconciling accounts.

• Address billing issues and customer questions; track customer accounts and follow up on overdue balances.

• Keep an eye on A/R aging and collaborate with the Treasury Manager regarding collections.

• Evaluate payroll reports and transaction entries for APAC entities in NetSuite.

• Assist with month-end closing activities and various accounting responsibilities.

• Prepare and record journal entries as necessary.

• Generate account reconciliations along with supporting documentation.

• Analyze financial outcomes and clarify variances via Flux review.

• Provide support during the annual financial audit and other special projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in a high-paced setting.

• Extensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Proficient experience in bookkeeping.

• Strong background in General Ledger (GL) accounting.

• In-depth experience with month-end closing processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Keen attention to detail and precision in data entry and record-keeping.

• Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software and Salesforce CRM is highly preferred.

• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.

• Understanding of GAAP is essential.
