Staff Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions utilizing NetSuite.

• Prepare and document journal entries, which include accruals and adjustments.

• Conduct reconciliations for bank and credit card transactions, addressing any discrepancies.

• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts effectively.

• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Produce financial reports and provide support for basic financial analysis.

• Examine transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to clarify financial information and resolve issues.

• Maintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready financial records within NetSuite.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• At least 3 years of experience in accounting.

• Preferred experience in supporting US-based clients or working in a BPO/outsourcing setting.

• Practical knowledge of NetSuite.

• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.

• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to work independently.

• Must be available to work in US time zones, including graveyard shifts from the Philippines.

• Availability to commence work within 2 weeks of receiving a job offer.

• Comfortable using time-tracking tools like Time Doctor.

• Must possess a laptop or desktop, noise-cancelling headphones, and a webcam.

• A reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps.

• Backup equipment for any potential power and internet outages.
