Staff Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Process artist payments through wire transfers, ACH, or checks.

• Oversee the payment, tracking, and approval process for property- and show-related invoices.

• Execute month-end closing procedures, including P&L statements, journal entries, and financial statements.

• Ensure checks and wires are recorded and reconciled monthly in collaboration with the Accounting Manager.

• Work alongside AP/AR Specialists to accurately process and document receivables, receipts, and payables.

• Prepare and remit monthly and quarterly tax payments.

• Maintain accounting records and assist during audits.

• Ensure compliance of files with company policies and procedures.

• Carry out additional accounting tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in the industry.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with Oracle is preferred.

• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical abilities.

• Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Self-driven and motivated individual.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Positive mindset.

• Willingness to adapt work hours and availability, including nights and weekends, particularly during significant projects.
