This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of essential aspects of the complete accounts payable cycle, which includes managing the AP inbox, vendor relationships, and processing invoices, all while ensuring adherence to purchasing policies.
• Collaborate with spend owners and the Procurement team to facilitate purchase order management, address invoice inquiries, and ensure timely follow-ups related to purchasing.
• Review employee expense reports for proper documentation, necessary approvals, coding accuracy, and compliance with company policies.
• Confirm the accuracy of virtual card, physical card, vendor billing, and employee expense transactions before syncing them to the ERP system.
• Assist with customer billing and accounts receivable functions, including cash application, collections, and other revenue-related processes.
• Manage assigned month-end close reconciliations across key balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare journal entries to support daily accounting operations and month-end closing activities.
• Conduct quarterly flux analysis and provide explanations for significant variations in account balances.
• Gather and organize documentation for external audit requests, including PBC schedules and supporting materials.
• Develop collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, FP&A, IT, Marketing, and other internal departments.
• Contribute to departmental KPIs such as the timeliness of closes, accuracy, and efficiency of processes.
• Identify areas of inefficiency in accounting processes and assist in enhancing workflows, systems, reporting, automation, and AI integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, including experience with complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems such as NetSuite, Airbase, or comparable platforms.
• A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail, strong follow-through, and a solutions-focused mindset.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and reliably meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Passion for improving processes and automating tasks, including leveraging AI and other tools to minimize repetitive manual work.
• Experience in a SaaS or technology company is a plus.
• Must successfully pass a federal, state, and county background check.
• Complete an in-person verification in the local area.
