SSRS Reports Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, unit test, and maintain sophisticated SSRS reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and reusability.

• Provide technical expertise in architecture, design, and execution.

• Identify implementation strategies that adhere to architectural designs.

• Collaborate with team members to produce reports and dashboards that deliver insights, enhance or automate processes, and create value.

• Navigate through iterative review cycles to meet or surpass user expectations.

• Follow software coding standards and style guidelines.

• Address support tickets related to SSRS reports and SQL.

• Leverage healthcare or Medicaid experience to foster process improvements.

• Coach, mentor, and develop team members.

• Work closely with engineering, infrastructure, product teams, end-users, and internal stakeholders.

• Assist in business analysis, requirements documentation, and healthcare reference data tasks utilizing governed datasets.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–11 years of practical experience in report development.

• Strong expertise in healthcare software solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of SSRS.

• Exceptional SQL proficiency.

• Familiarity with SSIS.

• Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts.

• Understanding of metadata management, dimensional modeling, and ETL/integration processes.

• Proven track record in developing and working with SSRS Reports.

• Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structures and translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.

• Advanced knowledge of SSRS and familiarity with reporting tools such as Tableau, Business Objects, and Crystal Reports.

• Advanced understanding of SQL, relational database management systems, data modeling, normalization, data extraction methods, and data warehousing principles.

• Strong development skills in SSRS, data analytics, and visualizations.

• Experience in healthcare or Medicaid settings.

• Report Development Certification is an advantage.

• May be required to work extended hours for specific business needs.
