Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze both business and technical requirements, recommending software solutions within a production support setting.

• Develop new features and enhance existing applications with a focus on security, scalability, high performance, and thorough testing.

• Examine complex data and software to deliver actionable insights.

• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders in an agile framework.

• Provide engineering estimates for project planning.

• Troubleshoot and debug emerging product areas and services.

• Create and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Quickly resolve software defects and production issues.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for high-performing web applications.

• Participate in code review sessions.

• Ensure applications fulfill security, performance, and scalability standards.

• Utilize Agile development tools to track and communicate project status.

• Stay up-to-date with information technologies and emerging trends.

• Attend meetings and provide support via text, phone, and email in a 24/7/365 environment.

• Engage in professional development and training opportunities.

• Build positive relationships with employees, clients, vendors, partners, and stakeholders.

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards.

• Execute other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience developing high-quality production code.

• Proficient in C# programming language.

• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET, MVC, and/or Blazor frameworks.

• Experience in developing and debugging web applications.

• Practical knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

• Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or similar platforms.

• Experience in creating database objects, writing T-SQL queries, and developing stored procedures.

• Proficient with ORMs, preferably Entity Framework.

• Knowledge of Monitoring and Telemetry tools and data.

• Experienced with Continuous Integration and Deployment tools, preferably Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git or TFS.

• Experience with issue tracking systems such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including strong business writing capabilities.

• Ability to estimate workloads and deliver projects within deadlines.

• Quick learner regarding ADTRAV’s business and products, adaptable to a dynamic development environment.

• Experience with travel industry tools such as Sabre or Concur is advantageous.

• Unit Testing or Test-Driven Development experience is a plus.

• Experience in a SaaS or Microservice environment is a plus.

• Capability to work remotely while meeting company home-office and productivity expectations.

• Willingness to work outside standard business hours and provide 24/7/365 support.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Must successfully pass credit, criminal, and/or employment reference background checks.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Must successfully pass a government clearance process as required by clients.
