SSR DevOps Engineer, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable Azure infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code.

• Create and oversee CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated deployments and release workflows.

• Monitor system performance, address issues, and ensure that environments maintain high availability.

• Lead and assist with Azure infrastructure troubleshooting, production incident management, and root cause analysis to ensure service reliability while minimizing downtime.

• Collaborate effectively with development and QA teams to enhance build and release processes.

• Implement security best practices and compliance standards across cloud environments.

• Generate and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and configurations.

• Participate in incident management and root cause analysis as needed.

• Work closely with international teams to provide operational support and resolve incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a comparable role.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure services and architecture.

• Proven expertise in troubleshooting Azure infrastructure issues and managing production incidents within cloud environments.

• Strong incident management capabilities, including issue diagnosis, prioritization, communication, and coordination with technical teams.

• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.

• Proficient scripting skills in Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell.

• Working knowledge of Linux servers and system administration.

• Strong grasp of Infrastructure as Code principles with hands-on experience using Ansible.

• Experience managing or collaborating with Nexus Repository Manager.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of change management processes and best practices.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.

• Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently during incident responses, troubleshooting sessions, and cross-functional collaborations.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with Rancher or similar container management platforms.

• Nice-to-have: Exposure to cloud infrastructure automation and orchestration tools.

• Nice-to-have: Experience in Agile environments.

• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
