Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and manage the infrastructure that supports contemporary, scalable software platforms

• Develop robust CI/CD pipelines and implement dependable deployment practices

• Build resilient, automated, self-healing, and observable systems

• Enhance deployment workflows and guarantee the availability of critical systems under stress

• Take responsibility for the infrastructure and operational reliability of MOXFIVE’s incident response platform

• Assist in providing high availability and responsiveness for customers experiencing cyberattacks

• Play a vital role in infrastructure architecture, deployment strategies, and operational excellence as a founding member of the engineering team

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical DevOps/Infrastructure experience in production SaaS settings

• Extensive experience with AWS and Azure cloud services

• Proficient in Terraform for managing multi-cloud infrastructure

• Hands-on experience with production Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) and service mesh technologies like Linkerd, Istio, or Envoy

• Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins

• Skilled in containerization with Docker and managing container orchestration at scale

• Proficiency in Python or Go programming languages

• Experience with data pipeline infrastructure and orchestration

• Competence in building and operating data lake infrastructure using Azure Data Explorer, Snowflake, AWS S3/Glue/Athena

• Familiarity with implementing observability solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog

• Practical experience in database operations with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis

• In-depth understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices

• Experience with secrets management using AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, or HashiCorp Vault

• Awareness of GitOps practices and infrastructure automation

• Nice to have: Experience with Microsoft Fabric

• Nice to have: Familiarity with Temporal, Airflow, or similar workflow orchestration platforms

• Nice to have: Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, or other big data platforms

• Nice to have: Background in cybersecurity or incident response
