SRE – Mid-level DevOps Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deploy and oversee cloud resources including servers, networks, firewalls, databases, and load balancers.

• Design and establish architectures that prioritize security, stability, scalability, and reliability.

• Assist development and security teams in outlining infrastructure requirements.

• Monitor environments and deliver operational support.

• Engage in the on-call rotation (18x7 shifts).

• Maintain up-to-date team documentation.

• Automate infrastructure and support activities.

• Program infrastructure as code, ensuring code is secure, current, and well-documented.

• Collaborate with developers during application deployment cycles and in incident response situations.

• Provide feedback, metrics insights, and data analysis to development teams.

• Automate continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines.

• Generate reports on the performance, availability, and reliability metrics of services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCP.

• Familiarity with container runtimes/engines like Docker, containerd, and/or Podman.

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Ansible, Chef, and/or Puppet.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, CircleCI, and/or GitHub Actions.

• Strong understanding of administration and troubleshooting for Linux and/or Windows operating systems.

• Solid skills in scripting languages, primarily Bash and PowerShell.

• Good knowledge of observability and monitoring platforms, including Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Fluentd, and/or Elasticsearch.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Knowledge of administration and troubleshooting for web servers such as NGINX, Apache, and/or IIS.

• Understanding of network protocols like TCP and HTTP.

• An automation and continuous improvement mindset.

• Nice to have: knowledge of GKE, AWS EKS or AWS ECS; experience in DevOps environments; proficiency in Python, Ruby, or Go; advanced expertise in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or SQL Server.
