SRE Especialista – GCP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain the company's infrastructure on GCP.

• Manage environments based on GKE, Cloud Run, and managed services.

• Develop and enhance reusable Terraform modules.

• Establish standards for networking, IAM, Service Accounts, and secret management.

• Implement least privilege practices and segregation across environments.

• Structure secure deployment mechanisms between pipeline and runtime.

• Implement infrastructure and service observability with metrics, logs, and tracing.

• Assist teams in defining SLIs, SLOs, alerts, and capacity planning.

• Automate provisioning, configuration, and recurring operational tasks.

• Participate in incident investigation and eliminate recurring causes.

• Implement security controls over images, workloads, and cloud configurations.

• Monitor costs, capacity, availability, and operational risks of the platform.

• Document standards and guide teams in the secure use of infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform.

• Knowledge of GKE and Kubernetes.

• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.

• Familiarity with IAM, Service Accounts, Workload Identity, and Secret Manager.

• Experience with networking in GCP, including VPC, firewall, DNS, and load balancing.

• Understanding of Docker and operation of containerized applications.

• Experience with observability, monitoring, and incident response.

• Knowledge of high availability, scalability, backups, and disaster recovery.

• Experience with automation using Bash, Python, or Go.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices applied to infrastructure and runtime.

• Preferred: experience with Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Memorystore, and Artifact Registry.

• Preferred: experience with Datadog and OpenTelemetry.

• Preferred: knowledge of Policy as Code, such as OPA or Gatekeeper.

• Preferred: experience with hardening Kubernetes clusters and workloads.

• Preferred: knowledge of SBOM, image signing, and software supply chain controls.

• Preferred: experience with FinOps and cost optimization in cloud.

• Preferred: experience in financial, regulated environments, or with audit requirements.

• Preferred: certification as a Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Architect, or equivalent.
