This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Design, develop, and enhance AWS production infrastructure.
• Automate and streamline infrastructure processes utilizing Terraform.
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Administer and enhance containerized environments using Kubernetes and/or ECS.
• Advance service observability through metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting.
• Assist in defining and monitoring SLIs/SLOs.
• Convert availability requirements into effective monitoring, redundancy, and deployment strategies.
• Engage in production incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Enhance infrastructure security and implement best practices for access and secrets management.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to minimize manual intervention.
• Provide support to development teams with infrastructure, deployment, and production-related issues.
• Identify and implement enhancements in reliability, performance, security, and Cloud cost efficiency.
• Update runbooks, documentation, and SRE best practices.
• Contribute to the reliability, availability, performance, and security of production services.
• Operate with a high level of autonomy throughout the entire infrastructure lifecycle, from automation to production operations.
• 5–6 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Extensive experience with AWS production environments.
• Practical experience with systems where availability, reliability, and performance are essential.
• Experience managing production incidents and exploring their root causes.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud, infrastructure, and production operations.
• Capability to collaborate with Engineering and Product teams.
• Advanced English proficiency, enabling effective daily communication in an international setting.
• Proficiency in AWS services: VPC, EC2/ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, Load Balancers, Route 53, CloudWatch.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code in production settings.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and/or ECS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, CloudWatch.
• Proficient in Linux, networking, and DNS.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Understanding of secrets management and security best practices.
• Experience in managing production incidents.
• Demonstrated technical expertise, autonomy, and practicality.
• Ability to analyze incidents methodically and maintain composure under pressure.
• Proactive mindset and capability to drive improvements to fruition.
• Reliability-oriented mindset with the ability to foresee potential issues.
• Awareness of how infrastructure decisions impact the product and its users.
• Comfortable working in a largely remote, international environment.
